The year is 2026 and we are at it again. Our festival weekend is finally here. Our small team has been working hard behind the scenes, programming, scheduling, working with venues and getting every little detail ready for you all. This list is for anyone who might not be familiar with the festival or Limerick City. Limerick is a compact, easily walkable city. All venues are typically within five or ten minutes (or less) walk from one another. So get planning and we’ll see you there.

Festival Guide 2026

How to Get to Limerick

Limerick is an easily walkable city, with most venues being less than a five-minute walk from one another. If traveling to Limerick we would recommend that you choose an environmentally conscious mode of travel such as bus or train. Trains and buses arrive into the centre of the city, only a few minutes walk from our venues.

By Bus

Bus Éireann provides frequent services to and from all Ireland's major cities. For further information and to buy your tickets please visit Bus Éireann.

By Train

Limerick is easily accessible via rail links, with frequent services from Dublin, Cork and Galway. For further information and to buy your tickets please visit Irish Rail (check out our live video of Artie Silver performing at Limerick Junction).

STARLING

STARLING has changed venue since last year. You can find the venue behind large red gates on Anne Street, just around the corner from Lumen Street Theatre (V94 WY22).

Accessibility

We want to maximise accessibility for everyone where possible, though working with existing venues and infrastructure has limitations. Some of our pre-existing venues have limited accessibility, and require the use of stairs; including Pharmacia, The Record Room, Klaud9.

A wheelchair accessible portaloo will be available during The Commercial Street Party on Catherine Street on Saturday.

If you would like any further information on accessibility at our festival, please reach out to us on our email feilenagreinelk@gmail.com.

Safety

If something or someone makes you feel uncomfortable, no matter how minor it seems, speak to any of our team members, they will be wearing high-visibility vests. We will work with you so it doesn't have to ruin your experience.

Inclusivity

Many of the participating venues will have gender-inclusive toilets, keep an eye out for signage. Choose and use the loo that feels right to you.

We ask that everyone respect the privacy of others. Gender discrimination has no place here.

Dylan Kerr & Weston Olencki / Linda Buckley / Neil Ó Lochlainn's Tlú Lín
Ormston House  / 12:00pm - 3:00pm

Dylan Kerr & Weston Olencki - 'with sharp bitter lines' is at its core a set of songs, mostly about loss, coal, and emigration, that trace the unruly tethers between Ireland and Appalachia. Written and performed by Berlin-based artists Dylan Kerr and Weston Olencki, it draws upon their shared interest in the spaces between experimental sound, multichannel synthesis, and vernacular musics. Drawing on the work of folklorists Dolores Keane and Jean Ritchie, 'with sharp bitter lines' uses digital string synthesis, voice, an Appalachian mountain dulcimer and a talkbox to reimagine the future lineages of the ballad tradition.

Linda Buckley - From the words of Iggy Pop himself “beautiful music – here is somebody really special”.

Neil Ó Lochlainn's Tlú Lín - Tlú Lín (Ripple) is the latest project from Clare musician and composer Neil Ó Lochlainn. (SOLD OUT) Artie Silver / Mega Bog / Mark + Luke / 2muchbootyinthebooth
Pharmacia Upstairs / 8:45pm - 2:00am

Artie Silver - In the early 1980s, Artie Silver was everywhere. His face was on every bus in town. On April 5th, 1983, his life was turned upside down when he returned to his home from his tour a day early to surprise his wife, Sharon, only to find her in bed with his then business manager, Carl Weathers. With his personal life and finances in tatters, he tried to continue performing but was clearly broken and spent much of the concerts crying and whimpering. Fans lost interest in him and he evaporated from the public eye for much of the 90s and 2000s. Now he has begun to rebuild his career singing songs of the betrayal and loneliness that's riddles the world of business.

Mega Bog - Dizzying fusion of lounge, pop and bouncing rocks under poetic tantrums of love gone all the way wrong. Listen closer.
